Engine: LT7, 5.5L, twin-turbocharged DOHC flat-plane crank. 1,064 horsepower@7K, 828 lb-ft @6K, redline@8K. Dual, ported shroud, ball bearing, mono-scroll (76 mm) turbochargers integrated with the exhaust manifold. ZR1-specific intelligent anti-lag engine calibration. Port and direct injection (port injection is secondary). LT7 produces more power than two LS7 engines.
Transmission: ZR1-specific 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Upgraded inner and outer input shafts. Shot-peened gears.
Top Speed: 215+ mph. 1/4 mile: Sub 10s.
Suspension: Magnetic Ride suspension (two versions -- ZR1 and ZTK)
Brakes: Standard carbon ceramic brakes
Front rotors: 15.7" (400mm)
Rear rotors: 15.4" (390mm)
Wheels and tires: 20 x 10 front, 21 x 13-inch rear. 275/30ZR20, 345/25ZR21.
Dry Weight: (lb. / kg):3670 / 1665 (coupe) 3758 / 1705 (convertible)
All four test drivers clocked over 200 mph peak speed on their very first laps at the Nürburgring.
The C8 Zr1 will be a force to be reckoned with once released. Estimated MSRP starting is between $180,000 - $205,000
